I am educator who is passionate about equity, diversity, inclusion, and justice where meaningful access, engagement, and challenge is a reality for every learner. My experience in inclusive education ranges from classroom and special education support teaching, professional development design and delivery, and curriculum and policy review and design. I am an advocate for Universal Design for Learning (UDL) as a framework for equity, diversity and inclusive education in Ireland. I won a Fulbright Research Scholar Award in 2020 to work with the Lynch School of Education and Humanities, Boston College , and CAST to learn more about UDL and the systematic requirements of its enactment in Ireland. I am the creator and host of #UDLchatIE, Ireland’s first space to talk all things UDL and inclusive education.
